I have had a number of stained glass patterns published as the free "Pattern of the Month" pattern for Spectrum Glass. I've drifted away from doing stained glass now, but I did recently take a glass mosaic class at Gallery M in Cambridge, (info@gallerymgalt.ca) where you glue the glass to a wooden shadow box cut end down, instead of laying the glass flat on the wood. I threw out a couple of boxes of cullet when I moved, which I regret now. Never throw anything out, you never know when you'll find a use for it.

The carrot is meant to be made separately, and soldered on top of the face. The mouth is a bit of curved wire.
